Hegseth is becoming a traitor to our allies. Way past time for him to be gone.

Hegseth is a brutal rapist, a fake ‘Christian’, a very seditious and corruptly treasonous and dangerous individual. He is also a betrayer to his country of the lowest order. His Jerusalem Cross tattoo is emblematic of his mind set, as he deems himself a ‘righteous Crusader’ to rid the world of Liberal Democracies. He’s odious—and I uh, ‘pray’ he goes down with a BANG…..

What Hegseth has done is illegal. The Supreme Court adjudicated this issue in the first Trump administration, and before that, under Obama. Congress allocates money to be spent a certain way, which includes materiel BTW, and the President cannot unilaterally decide to spend it elsewhere or not spend it at all. Hegseth has absolutely no legal authority to do this, and yet, there is no check. No lawsuit. How would a lawsuit be filed against him? Meaning, who has standing? I don't know. But Senate investigation should be the least of it. This is so shameful, so hideous, it's eating away at my heart, my love for this country, and has destroyed the respect I once had for our "rule of law." Now, if you are rich or politically favored or connected, you can break the law with total impunity, while the poor and those of us who despise what this country has become can be dragged off and beaten by cops for asking for their badge numbers.

I thought my disgust at what we've become couldn't get lower when we abandoned our Afghan terps to their fate in an eery repetition of the Fall of Saigon. I thought, again, it couldn't get lower when I saw people online cheering and jeering at the men being forced to their knees, slapped in the face, and had their heads shaved in the new GULAG at SECOT. I feel much, much worse now. I don't see how it will be possible for us to come back from this. Our country has burned all our bridges, betrayed friends and allies and people we swore we'd help, and become a cruel joke of itself. There is no coming back. The popular vote went to Trump, for God's sake, and we will never be trusted again.
